Monday night means curry

It's 55 degrees outside. The sun is shining but obstructed by the ubiquitous yellow dust, rated today as "moderate" by the Yellow Sand/Asian Dust Monitor System.

It's Monday afternoon and I'm sitting on my deck enjoying the spring-like weather. Flogging Molly's "Whistles the Wind" just came up on my iTunes (how appropriate for St. Patrick's Day!), Diana and Ward brought chocolate into work this morning, and there's a huge mug of tea next to me. Thanks to an over-crowded office and my always-handy laptop, I'm writing lesson plans from home most of the week.

Plus, as is tradition on Mondays, it's Indian night. Dal makhani, plain nan, samosas and chai at Everest. What would a week be without that?!

This is shaping up to be a good week.

And then the orphans return. The calm before the storm, truly.
