One of the best things about being back in America during autumn is the abundance of pumpkin-flavored products, from basic pies and breads to coffee, pancakes and spreads.
My favorite recent find: Trader Joe's pumpkin butter. Besides being fat-, cholesterol- and sodium-free, check out this simple ingredient list:
- lemon juice concentrate
So far, it's been delicious on Kashi waffles with peanut butter, spread on an apple and as an oatmeal mix-in. What a delicious fall find -- one of my favorite things about Trader Joe's is that they label "seasonal favorites" and pumpkin butter currently occupies prime display space.
Expect more blogging about pumpkin products as October rolls on. It's been three years -- I'm taking advantage of every pumpkin opportunity that comes along!
